Get the soundtrack right.

Decide what music you’re going to play and (dare we say it) try something a bit different. Slade, Elvis and Mariah Carey aren’t the only artists to have released Christmas music, and listening to All I Want For Christmas Is You for the hundredth time can bring out anyone's aggessive tendencies.

There are tons of lesser-known artists who have fantastic Christmas albums - here at soFem we love Canadian singer Allison Crowe’s Tidings. It’s a mix of contemporary and classic tunes, and it’s available to download free from her website allisoncrowe.com. Why not go for something totally different and find some Christmas reggae or Christmas music from other countries?
