Our guide to a stress-free Christmas

 - Preparation
Keeping old traditions alive is what makes Christmas so magical, but there’s nothing wrong with new ideas and decorations to surprise your guests and bring something a bit different to your table or tree.

Try using different dishes, tableware, tablecloths and decorations. Spend time laying and decorating the table for Christmas dinner, and your guests will want to linger over their plum pudding and brandy sauce. Why not create a special kids' area or even a separate table for the little ones?

Change your colour schemes, if you have any! Red and green are traditional, but why not try a baroque touch or a mono scheme for your Christmas dinner table?
