When playing on a beach court, you need to be capable of moving about in all directions (to the front, back and sides), jumping, ducking and diving.

At the same time, you need to know how to hit the ball, receive, pass and launch an attack - all whilst keeping an eye on your opponents and on the ball. Reflexes, concentration and coordination are really important. Look away for a moment and you lose the point in a flash!
