The contingency plan

Discuss the contigency plan

Obviously your wedding day will go off without a hitch - everything will be perfect! Until suddenly it isn't. Thinking in terms of the worse case scenario will help you ward off any disasters before the occur.

Ask you wedding photographer the following key questions from Little Jewel Weddings and make sure you're satisfied with the responses before signing on that dotted line. They may sound obvious but you'd kick yourself if you didn't ask and then something went wrong.

Contigency questions:
  1. What happens if the photographer is ill on your wedding day?
  2. Do they work with another photographer that they could use as a back up and would your deposit and fees cover this?
  3. What happens if their camera breaks on the day? Do they have a back-up camera and set of lenses?
And what about after the event? It pays to know the photographer has adequate insurance if something was to happen to your disc or film before you got your hands on the finished product.
