Organising the days after your wedding

- Organize photo and video parties.  "After the wedding, sorting through photos to go in our album helped us live it all over agsin," says reader Ella. To make the moment last, invite your friends round to share the magical moments from your big day. Everyone will have a story to tell and you'll see your big day through other people's eyes, which can often be really surprising!

- Have a girly day. Make time for your girlfriends who helped and supported you through your wedding plans. Give them the time they deserve and go out for a spa day or a slap-up meal.

- Don't neglect yourself. You enjoyed pampering and perfecting yourself for the big day and you may have made a big effort to lose weight to dazzle in your dress. Don't let all your good work go to waste: carry on exercising, pampering yourself and getting the odd massage here and there....you're worth it, remember!

- Get back to 'normal': "Don't let life pass you by. It has to go on as normal," says Sophie Cadalen. "Go back to your old activities, enjoy doing what you used to do before the wedding took over and concentrate on moving forward."  Set yourself new targets: search for that dream job, learn Chinese, learn to kite-surf, take cooking lessons or whatever floats your boat. "I threw myself into decorating the house after our wedding," says reader Chris. "With walls and walls of photos of our big day!"
