Put pen to paper

Say it in ink

When the big day arrives, it’s going to be a whirlwind affair – you’ll hardly have time to speak to your partner, let alone the people who have travelled from far and wide to see you walk up the aisle.

It’s also not practical to try and split your time between all the guests. For those who live furthest away, pen them a letter ahead of the day, detailing how much they mean to you.

Slipping it to them on the day is a sure fire way to stop thinking, ‘I wish I’d had more of a chance to speak to…’ as you career off on honeymoon.

It’s also nice to leave a note on the chair of your parents and in-laws, thanking them for their involvement and contribution. If nothing else, it makes you look thoughtful and sets you off on the right foot with your new family.
