We’ve Discovered Why Your Boyfriend Looks at Other Women

by Laurence-Emmanuelle Bédard Published on July 6, 2015

Our men seem to be smitten by any pretty woman who crosses their path. We have all caught our guy in the act. Have you ever wondered why the poor boy simply cannot resist the charms of other women? We have the answer.

According to the British newspaper Daily Mail, there is also a perfectly logical reason for women feeling frustrated when the eyes of their significant others stray. It reflects their insecurity and their fear of being abandoned by the one they love. Some, however, go a little too far...

Ladies, understand that your man is looking at other women because the male is very sensitive to visual stimulation. That's why men, unlike women, can't resist the sight of the opposite sex. HOWEVER, it does not mean that he no longer loves you, much less that he's looking for a new partner! It is simply a male hormonal response. It's not the same for women. We do not feel attracted to any man who crosses our path. That fact increases our perception of being constantly compared to others. If we are afraid of losing our place in our man's eyes to somebody who is more attractive, it is because we lack confidence.

You have to remember that, contrary to the popular misconception, science has shown that men do not store these images. That is to say that your boyfriend could see 1,000 girls and, within moments, he has forgotten them. In women, it is exactly the opposite! When we gaze upon a man, he may very well remain in our mind's eye for days. The study cited by the Daily Mail also found that you could show a man the photos of hundreds women who have crossed his path, and he would be hard pressed to identify one. If a man looks at women, it's because he's wired that way. No need for alarm.
