Hand cream: Ten tried & tested handcreams

This was our least favourite hand moisturizer. Barbara Daly's Helping Hands Gel, just wasn't up to scratch in our books. The smell was too acidic and made our hands smell like we'd been washing up all day and the consistency wasn't brilliant. No matter how much we rubbed, our hands were greasy and shiny and left smudge marks on whatever we touched.

The worst thing of all has to be the packaging - the flimsy, plastic box that the gel came in had sharp corners and felt very cheap. Once we opened the box we noticed a big lump of gloopy glue on the lid of the bottle (we can only think it was to keep the bottle from moving about in the box) and that just didn't endear us at all.
