Sun, sea, sand and...STDs? Stay safe on holiday!

The morning after pill, emergency contraception

When we're holiday we just want to break free from all constraints...and contraception can get forgotten. This can lead to a stressful morning after the night before! And however careful you are, it's no-one's fault if a condom breaks.

Slip some emergency contraception into your suitcase, just to be on the safe side. You can get hold of the morning after pill from pharmacies without a prescription.

Note that the morning after pill is only effective when taken within 72 hours of having unprotected sex, and it doesn't protect you against STDs. And don't forget to use a condom until the end of your cycle.
