What if you forget the Pill on holiday or you're ill?

What if you forget the Pill on holiday or you're ill?

What if I'm ill?
If the local food doesn't agree with you, vomiting and diarrhea can plague you on holiday - and it can render the Pill ineffective. Take a spare pack of pills with you so you can take another if you're sick and then carry on with the rest of your pack as normal. If you're ill for several days on the trot, use a condom until your next cycle. For more information, read the information leaflet that comes with your Pill.

What if I forget?
In a faraway country and in a different time zone, it's easy to forget and it does happen. Don't panic: depending on what Pill you're on, you can afford a lapse (of 3 to 12 hours, depending on the type). Take the forgotten pill ASAP and carry on with the rest of the pack as normal. If you've gone over 12 hours or whatever your limit is, follow the instructions on your pack and make sure you use a condom when you have sex.
