Describe yourself in 5 words
Determined, independent, hard-working, loyal and fun.

How do you shake up female clichés in your daily life (job, family…)?
I have been raised to be incredibly independent and strong-willed so that I don’t need or have to depend on a man to look after me. I am incredibly fortunate to have been able to translate this into my adult life and follow it through – so thanks mum and dad.

What are you especially proud of?
Being brave enough to give up over a decade in fashion and beauty PR to try something totally different.

I started Frontline Fashion after spending time volunteering in a disaster zone in Haiti and realized that people don’t need to shun the glamour and highlife of the style industry in order to make a difference to others, and that everybody can be style conscious with a social conscience.

The Zanmi Range © Frontline Fashion
Through my Zanmi range (Haitian for friends) I strive to raise awareness about humanitarian issues and funds to support dedicated projects.

How do you imagine men-women relations in 20 years?
As long as you have the drive and the passion, you can achieve whatever you want. Obviously woman are stronger and more committed in certain situations, just don’t tell the men I said that!
