Megan Fox Is Taking Over Zooey Deschanel In New Girl And The World No Longer Makes Sense To Us

Writers of New Girl: put ALL the money in the Douchebag Jar! It has been announced that Megan Fox is due to replace Zooey Deschanel on the hit comedy show since Zooey is on maternity leave and honestly? We're not best pleased. We wanted adorkable, not that girl from Transformers! What will this do to the Loft dynamic? ARGH!

The loft is about to get a brand new resident and we're really not sure how we feel about it. Sure Mega Fox is stunning, and sure, that first Transformer film was...okay...but we're not sure how we feel about her becoming the new girl! Literally! She's about to become the New Girl!

Since Zooey Deschanel will be on maternity leave during season 6 of the hit comedy after giving birth to her first daughter in August, she will only be appearing in the first six episode, with Megan taking her place in the apartment as 'Reagan', a pharmaceutical sales rep. And where oh where will Jess be? Jury duty. Sure.

Executive producer Liz Meriweather said: "It’s insane to me that such a gorgeous person can be so funny, but I guess we just all have to accept it. I've been a fan of her comedic skills since This Is 40, and I’m so excited to have her on the show. We had Megan in mind when we wrote this part – she’s the perfect person to come in and shake these guys up."

But...no! Although we understand that the show must go on, we still don't know how this will be possible without Jess. Jess is the show! Will 'Reagan' be allowed to play True American? Is nothing sacred anymore?!
