Kristen Stewart confirmed for Snow White And The Huntsman sequel
"Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2" star Kristen Stewart certainly has had a turbulent year since it was revealed that she was having an affair with married director Rupert Sanders.
Photos of the pair canoodling in a car caused a media storm, which rocked Kristen’s relationship with "Twilight" co-star Robert Pattinson and ended the director’s marriage to model Liberty Ross.
The 22-year-old became a hate-figure and the scandal threatened to spell the end of her Hollywood acting career.
But five months later, things seem to be working in her favour again.
Not not only did Rob take her back, but she's also been confirmed for the "Snow White And The Huntsman" sequel - despite rumours she'd been removed from the franchise.
But things haven't gone so well for Rupert Sanders.
His wife Liberty is reportedly divorcing him and planning to move back to London with their two children.
And it will be another blow for the 41-year-old to learn that he's been taken off the "Snow White" sequel and will be replaced by another Hollywood director, so that Kristen can return to the project.
An inside source exclusively told RadarOnlone: "The script has already been written and production will begin late next year."
"However, Rupert Sanders definitely won't be a part of the project. Rupert didn't want to be a part of it to begin with because he is desperately still trying to save his marriage.
“The search is still on for a new director."
With the final instalment of the "Twilight Saga" soaring to the top of the international box-office rankings - bringing in $340.9million worldwide in its first week - it seems film bosses are keen to keep the actress involved as she's proved a big box office draw.
But the insider went on to say that although Kristen is pleased the world - and most importantly Rob - has forgiven her, she’s still panicking about her career prospects.
The source explained: "Kristen is extremely concerned about her acting career. Other than the Snow White sequel she isn't attached to any other projects.
“There are scripts coming in, but not as many good ones as she would like.
“It's distressing to Kristen that Rob is attached to four separate movies over the next year-and-a-half.
“Even her "Twilight" co-stars, Taylor Lautner and Ashley Greene, are more in demand than ever, with both committed to two different movies each.
“Kristen just hopes that that the fallout over her relationship with Rupert doesn't hurt her career."
Straight after photos of the actress’ affair were made public, she released a statement insisting that her romance with her "Snow White" director was a “momentary indiscretion”, but there were several reports that the affair lasted for “months”.
