There are several ways to fix the situation and minimize your spending:
Try picking one day of the week as the grocery stock-up day. Organize a weekly list and stick to it. Try to avoid shopping on a daily basis as it can really increase what you spend.
Only buy as much food as you will need for the week to avoid clutter and waste. Most homes tend to have refrigerators with leftovers that never get eaten.
Don’t fall for the ‘Let’s buy extra’ ploy, you’ll only end up wasting food and money.
