You can make your own furoshiki, or traditional Japanese wrapping cloth, using a scarf or even a scrap of pretty fabric. In Japan, these cloths are used for a big variety of purposes, as shopping bags, bento carriers, or gift wrap.

Make your own and have fun trying out different folding techniques—the wrapping process is not unlike folding origami.
