How to get around
From the airport there are buses into The Hague — the journey is less than 20 minutes— so you can settle in quickly and make the most of your vacation.
Once you're on location in The Hague there are a number of ways of seeing the city. Horse and carriage is Queen Beatrix's traditional ceremonial way of getting out and about in The Hague, but for us lesser folk, you can usually get most places by foot.
If you want to travel the length and breadth of The Hague, then the public transport links are fantastic. There are frequent trams and buses (although rumour has it they actually take longer than cycling).
Being Holland there are bicycles everywhere so watch where you are walking as they're not too sympathetic to meandering tourists cluttering up the bike lanes.
