Shopping in The Hague
There is plenty to keep you occupied in The Hague, but whatever you spend your time on, one of the most refreshing things is the calm pace of life and the overall relaxing ambience that seems to preside throughout the city.

With only 500,000 inhabitants it's practically empty compared to the heaving masses of Toronto and Montreal thus making things like shopping an absolute treat.
So, if you do anything in The Hague, take advantage of the shops, the non existent line-ups and the available changing rooms. So whether you want to tackle low-key stores without the hoards, or high end luxury with real customer service, then The Hague has it all. From H&M to Hermes.
Shopping in The Hague:
1. The Denneweg is a classical and stylish shopping street and is traditionally Hague-like. The old-fashioned atmosphere of the royal city is most apparent here, making it the perfect street to meander through window shopping the various design and lifestyle boutiques.
We loved Marlies Dekkers shop which has a gorgeous choice of delicate lingerie - perfect for naughty nights in your hotel.
2. Prinsestraat and Hofkwartier - these maze like streets are packed with unique specialist shops and trendy boutiques. With antiquaries galore for some nostalgic shopping moments.
3. De Passage - this traditional style shopping centre has a hint of the Parisian about it with high glass ceilings and boutiques lining the walls. With beauty shops, fashion stores and a selection of restaurants this is a shopping must.
We loved De Luca for afternoon lunch - quick service and great food.
