Spa hotel and restaurant: Tortworth Court and Orangery

This Grade II listed Victorian spa mansion hotel holds an impressive 189 luxury en-suite period rooms. It nestles within 30 acres of parkland on the edge of the Cotswolds within easy distance of Bristol, complete with its own arboretum with over 300 rare and protected trees.

The private grounds overlooking a lake are available to guests and an ideal starting point for country walks, including the Cotswold Way which runs through many picturesque villages.
Steeped in history, the mansion itself was built in 1849. In 1899 a huge conservatory was built to house exotic plants and shrubs and is now the location of the opulent Orangery restaurant, which has received several awards for it's uniquely British cuisine.

Tortworth offers a variety of themed weekend breaks, such as the Murder Mystery, Falconry, Dancing and Cabaret weekend breaks. It also hosts an annual Antiques and Fine Art Fair, offering the best period and country furniture, jewellery, paintings, sculpture and exquisite home furnishings.

Other indulgent retreat ideas on offer include the “Sleepover Package”, with the added option to use the hotel's spa including heated 12m x 7.5m indoor pool, sauna and steam room, gym and spa bath.
