Katherine Scott - personal lifestyle advisor

Katherine Scott, founder of The Glamorous Goodlife
When Katherine Scott, 26, found herself constantly recommending health experts to her friends she thought, why not make a business out of this? “It”s quite easy to be motivated when you make what you”re doing into a passion. I was doing it in my spare time for fun just because I loved it so much.”
Katherine”s business is helping people improve their lives via her “personal lifestyle guru service”, The Glamorous Goodlife. The service enables people to access a network of the top therapists in and around London, as Katherine explains: “I have 25 of London”s top experts in health, wellbeing, grooming, celebrity hair stylists, masseurs and facialists”. She has also enlisted the highly sought-after services of her boyfriend, Paul McKenna, the hypnotherapist.
Previous to this, Katherine was manager of an upmarket personal training gym and holistic therapies club in Mayfair. “I really got the opportunity to meet some of the best people in the industry. I basically networked for two and a half years and thought I”m in amazing position. The business just made sense because I was already referring people to my clients.”
To push things forward, Katherine began organizing what she called “Fabulous Ladies Lunches” to cement relationships with her network of experts – “we discovered we enjoyed working together and liked each other”s company”.
Katherine acts as a personal lifestyle guru to her 20 or so clients, starting with an assessment of what they want to get out of the service before directing them to the relevant experts. “We”ll look at their mental, emotional and physical state and I”ll ask them what they want to achieve. It could be something as simple as getting a hair cut or something more complex like one of my clients has been recovering from a serious illness so needs more holistic care.”
So what”s the best thing about being at the helm of The Glamorous Goodlife?

“The people. There”s something really amazing about being able to help people. I find it really easy to do that. And it is life changing – you see somebody transform.”
