Acupuncture, herbal cigarettes, hypnosis, herbal remedies, aromatherapy...all are used in the battle to give up, and while no scientific study has proved they're effective, many ex-smokers swear by them. And if they help you relax, they can't be bad...

Alternative therapies are usually sought out before nicotine substitutes, and although they're not used by specialists and tobaccologists, they're definitely worth a try and will give you a psychological boost.
