Your finances

At around £5 a pack, ciggies don't come cheap. That's a lot of fivers you could save...

That dream holiday in the Seychelles? You could afford it if you stopped smoking, and that's not an exaggeration! A pack a day sets you back £35 a week, or £140 a month. Just a few months into a healthier new life, you could easily treat yourself to a relaxing break for you and your beloved. And from a pratical point of view, you'll be free of the constraints: no more driving around town on Sunday nights in search of an all-night garage because you've run out of cigarettes!

You can't smoke at work any more as of today, so the good news is you'll get more work done! A five-minute fag break every hour takes up 35 minutes of your day, three hours of your week and a whole day a month. You could well be up for a pay-rise within a few weeks...
