Stretch easy

Fitness expert Sarah O'Neill says to take it easy with stretching.

She says: "The effects of relaxin (the hormone that allows you to give birth) remain in the body for 6 months, or until you've stopped breast feeding.

"Relaxin loosens ligaments and increases the range of movement around joints and therefore certain exercises need to be avoided or approached with caution like lateral movements such as lateral lunges, side kicks and attention should be paid to not overstretching."
