Sunglasses for all ages

Young or old, the sun doesn't care who you are!

No matter what your age, everyone needs to protect their eyes.

Wearing sunglasses is therefore recommended for:

> The young, whose crystalline lenses don't yet properly serve as a filter. Choose a light pair of sunglasses that will stay in place well and, if possible, with protection on the sides e.g. wraparounds.

> Adults, particularly those with pale-blue or fragile eyes.

> The elderly, whose eyes are more sensitive.

Just like the skin, eyes have different degrees of sensitivity, depending on the individual.

The reason for the "disparity" is melanin, a pigment that's present in varying quantities in each of us.

Melanin defines the colour of your skin, eyes and hair.

In the eyes, it plays a protective role against UVs and blue light.
