Romantic plait for long hair
This style is feminine, glamourous and REALLY easy to achieve on any kind of hair. Simple plaits are all over the catwalk this season.
What you need
Hairband for plait
Step by step
Start by applying mousse all over your hair. Dry hair then separate into two sections. Tease the hair through the crown area and push the hair down, but don't push hair down as hard as with backcombing, instead keep hair loose and slightly messy. Apply a light dusting of hairspray throughout. Divide your hair into three equal sections and plait. Secure with a satin ribbon or raffia tie for a change.
Experiment with the half-undone look with strands pulled out, which is a big trend this summer, and use different ribbons, ties and bands to suit the occasion.
