Pastel made a noticeable comeback in this year's spring/summer collections. On the catwalks, models from Marc Jacobs, Chanel and Commuun broke up the little girl look by focusing on details such as short skirts, plunging necklines and chic prints. From pink-toned cream to tea-coloured beige, and from mint through to violet, these soft shades give a really feminine feel. 

We think:
Pastel? Yes! But it should ideally be combined with a structured cut. Take inspiration from the designers above who teamed soft pastels with strong shapes: all that's required is a bit of experimentation!
