Montreal jewelery: our top five
Charlotte Hosten's chunk-alicious creations

Charlotte Hosten's chunk-alicious creations

Her signature look?
A combination of silk, embroidered beads, vintage rings or Indian saris.
Her background?
In 2008, after many a day spent observing and handling antique brooches, african pendants and other finds discovered in nameless vintage shops, this belgian designer had a brilliant idea: use cloth just solid enough to act as a clasp and hold up her massive creations.

Detail-obsessed, she uses colours and materials to strive for a perfect balance in genres. As a result, her jewelery looks like mini-sculptures combining silk, embroidered beads, and vintage rings, mixed with a touch of Indian sari. Perfection.
