Jeans for your shape - caring for your jeans

Here's our guide to choosing a pair of jeans to flatter your shape:
Bottom-heavy, with big hips?
Go for high waisted jeans with slightly flared bottoms to balance out your figure.
Slim and petite?
Go for cigarette leg jeans. Straight leg jeans will suit you if you're slightly full-figured.

Tall and slim?
Go for a slight low-rise bootcut with light flares at the bottom of the leg. If you don't want anything too butt-hugging, go for a baggy straight cut.

Opt for high-waisted jeans which are more figure hugging, and team with a pretty wide belt to hide any trace of a love handle.

Caring for jeans

It's recommended you change your jeans every two years. Wash your jeans after wearing them two or three times.

Don't wash your jeans above 30°C to keep them in better condition and make them last longer. Jeans can change shape at higher temperatures (denim is made from cotton, which tends to change shape after it's been worn for a long time).
