How to wear fringe if your in your 30s
There are a select few that send trends into the stratosphere. Old favourites such as Kate Moss and Gwyneth Paltrow and now Alexa Chung, so ubiquitous it seems she has forever been a fashion maven, despite her relatively fresh fame.
Florence Welch of Florence & The Machine has bounded onto the scene in a flurry of fiery hair and gothic Hannah Marshall dresses and headed straight to the dizzy heights of glossy magazine titles and fashion blogs.
Pictured at the Isle of Wight festival in nothing other than a lilac fringed jacket, it’s almost possible to feel the collective longing. Florence, of course, pairs hers with a print dress, sandals and socks in characteristic quirky style.
For those less kooky, the trick is to keep the rest of the outfit simple. Pair this lilac number by Acne, or the chocolate leather version from New Look with a long block-coloured maxi dress and classic sandals.
