Todd Lynn catwalk report - London Fashion Week S/S 2011
London Fashion Week - Spring/Summer 2011
What the press are saying:
'Skins and leathers are his signature so it comes as no surprise to see them very much in evidence for this spring/summer show. I, however, wish Todd Lynn would explore fabrics not ripped from the carcass of an animal, or in this case, reptile.
The tailoring is exquisite, the silhouttes inventive and exciting, the look is ever-so sleek. Futuristic and minimalist, it's a breath of fresh air among so many super-girly offerings on other catwalks.
Yet it's all ruined by the designers obsession with all things 'hide'. I love the aesthetic of the shape but I could do without the cruelty. Todd Lynn is tailoring talent personified, if he could even bring himself to use leather from ethical sources it would be a start. No leather at all in a Todd Lynn collection? I can only dream.'
