Once you have your neat pile of invites, you then decipher the various unbreakable codes that spell out how good a seat you have, and thus how much of a chance you have to actually see the show.
Some press companies use gold stars, some red dots, some silver writing; some green stickers.
But don’t think you can pop down to Ryman’s and find yourself sitting front row.
A gentleman we saw today at Jasper Garvida had added two gold stars to his invite when in fact the PR company uses green dots to signify importance.
Despite professing he was from the Daily Mail it was access denied for him. Rooky mistake, you have been warned.
