London Fashion Week celebrates 25 years

This year London Fashion Week celebrates 25 years and the shows are being held at a new headquarters, Somerset House.

Situated just off The Strand, the new venue is a welcome change from the Natural History Museum where the event has been based most seasons for over a decade.

Somerset House is a fantastic building seeped in history and its location should make the logistics of covering London Fashion Week much easier.

There are two venues and the cluster of off-schedule events have all secured new venues within walking distance.

The Vauxhall Fashion Scout is increasingly influential as a showcase and platform for new talent, On/Off is firmly established as a credible alternative to the official venue and Blow PR is following on from last season's Blow Presents debut with another show featuring three upcoming designers (Gemma Slack, Lina Osterman and Iris Van Herpen).
