All about the Burberry show

Burberry: the frenzy, the fame and finally, the fashion.

Where usually you might get a Peaches Geldof front row (we promise, that’s the last time we’ll give her column inches) Burberry tempts out the real celebrities (real in the sense that they’re American, you see).

Kristen Stewart, Kate Hudson and an Olsen twin sat pride of place to watch Christopher Bailey’s collection of gorgeous shearling coats, greenish golden gowns and thigh high snakeskin boots.

It was, essentially, coat heaven with fashion editors swooning over each and every one.

A slightly more low key affair, Bally staged tea at Browns hotel where they displayed the fruits of their collaboration with Central Saint Martin's students. A selection of shoes was on show, from futuristic heels to chunky boots.

Stephanie Turner, a student on the CSM MA course designed the insole, which united all the student’s work as one collection and William Hendry was singled out for his unique heel shape. We’ll be keeping a weather eye on the horizon to see which aspects of the designs will find their way into Bally stores.
