Paul Costelloe's tribute to McQueen

Paul Costelloe was once again the first designer to show at London Fashion Week and he paid homage to McQueen with a respectful acknowledgment in his show notes.

The designer said: ‘there will obviously be a dark cloud hanging over this season's London Fashion Week and I, as one of the many designers showing, will feel a great sadness at this loss.

Alexander McQueen will be greatly missed.’ A class act, Costelloe offered his usual eclectic designing with a collection for the modern aristocrat.

Who wouldn’t like to be taking the air on their estate wearing a full length tweed coat with their hair artfully twisted into an Edwardian style, or taking tea in a cropped jacket and pencil skirt in a diagonal gold check?
