The Puces Pop fair is back!

by Marie-Sarah Published on December 9, 2015

Christmas shoppers, take note: the Puces Pop fair is back for its annual Holiday Edition, held this year at Montreal’s Saint-Enfant-Jesus du Mile-End church from December 11th to 13th.

The Puce Pop fair has become a Montreal tradition. Held three times a year, it consistently attracts 8,000 visitors, who come to discover the latest products made by Quebec’s talented craftsmen, artists and designers.

The 2015 Holiday Edition, Puces des Neiges, is a great opportunity for people to not only find highly original Christmas gifts, but to encourage the local economy.

Despite its name (puce means flea in French), this event is in no way a flea market! The vendors at this fair only sell original items, most of which are hand-crafted, and are always on hand to talk about their beautiful products.

So what can you find there? Just about everything, the selection is so varied! What makes this fair unique is that it allows people to encourage Quebec craftsmen without having to pay the kind of prices typically charged at other Quebec fairs such as Souk à la SAT.

You could get a lovely silkscreen print for your kid brother, organic skin care products for Mom, an original mug for your roommate, and sexy lingerie for...? Well, why shouldn’t you treat yourself to a gift too!

The Saint-Enfant-Jesus du Mile-End church is located at 5035 St-Dominique Street in Montreal.
