Puces Pop 2012: Montreal gets crafty

In the deep recesses (aka the basement) of Église Saint Michel, Montrealers came together for a ninth year in a row to rummage through racks of vintage, sample jams and preserves, enjoy art, and accessorize. Founded in 2004 as a complement to Pop Montreal, Puces Pop is a DIY crafts fair that gives local artisans and artists the chance to be seen.

Necklaces, nail art, paintings, posters, knit, vintage, and cookies...what better way to spend a day between shows?

We've rounded up the our favorite booths for you. Enjoy! (we sure did.)

Veronique Ouelette had so much trouble finding products that suited her skin that she decided to make her own! Lotions, soaps, scrubs, makeup...Booberry Cosmetics are made from all-natural products.

And where does the name come from? "Boo is my cat," Ouelette confessed. "He's like the love of my life, and Booberry is kind of his nickname."

Who wouldn't want to clean up with these lovely cakes of soap?

Available on Etsy.
