-Steaming: Seals in nutrients in vegetables and fish - add herbs for extra flavour.
-Grilling: All meats, fish and vegetables. Season to taste at the table.
-Roasting: Meats, add a little oil to keep moist, or baste with meat’s own juices.
-Soups and Stock: Vegetables, fish and meat. An easy, nutrious meals. Try making your own stock as well, by boiling up vegetable peelings, picked-over meat carcasses or fish trimmings.
-Baking in Foil: Fish with vegetables, herbs and even a low-fat creamy sauce. Try Jamie Oliver for some excellent ‘bake in the bag’ meals.
