What to eat with rosé, light red wine, sweet white wine

What to eat with rosé, light red wine, sweet white wine

Dry rosé: Anjou, Touraine and Provence wines, Bordeaux and Bordeaux clairet go extremely well with hot or cold starters and one-course meals like pizza, herb or certain cheese-based dishes, and Mediterranean cuisine in general.

Light red: Touraine Gamay, Sancerre, Menetou, Orléans wines and Pinot Noir from Alsace go well with hot starters, poultry, white meat and cheese with soft rind, and make a nice change with fish.

Sweet white: Sauternes, Muscat, Monbazillac, Vouvray, Gewurztraminer and the like go well with cheese (especially cheese containing herbs such as parsley) and desserts.
