Ingredients for 4:
4 Golden Delicious or Gala apples
4 tablespoons marmalade
4 sheets filo pastry
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Cut orange in half, juice and keep zest to one side. Core and pip apples and place whole in an oven dish. Spread with the butter and bake for half an hour. After 20 minutes, add marmalade and moisten apples with their cooking juices.
Remove from oven and leave to cool.
Meanwhile, fold each sheet of filo pastry in half, arrange orange zest one half and place an apple on top. Fold the remaining half of pastry over the apple and pinch the edges shut.
Bake for a 10 mins at 350°F (180°), then serve hot.
