Ebenezer Scrooge, a miserly old London moneylender, holds Christmas and everything it represents in high contempt. He refuses invitations to spend the holiday with his nephew - his only family - and forces his secretary Bob Cratchitt to beg for time off with his family so he can care for his crippled son Tim.

That Christmas eve, Scrooge returns to his grand empty house only to be faced with the ghost of his former business partner, Jacob Marley. The ghost, rattling his rusty chains of greed, warns Scrooge that his fate will be even worse if he does not make amends for his cruel ways. "Bah Humbug!"

Scrooge is then visited by three spirits, the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future. The spirits bring the old man on an adventure through time, showing him where he went wrong, and how he can make the future right.

Brought to you by Robert Zemeckis, director of "Forrest Gump," the 2009 Jim Carrey take on the classic Dickens tale is chock-full of goodies, and is available in 3D for extra Christmas chills.
