Jack Skellington is the Pumpkin King of Halloween Land, a fantastic place where every night is fright night.

With fame, his own tower of terror and a ghost-dog name Zero, you'd think Jack had everything. But Jack is lonely and searching for meaning, and in a quest to find something to believe in, he lands (literally) in Christmas Town, a place where "the monsters are all missing and the nightmares can't be found."

Ecstatic at the prospect of a new holiday, Jack goes back to Halloween Land to try and recreate Christmas. There's only one problem: he can't seem to get his fellow trick-or-treaters to understand what it's all about.

Released in 1993, The Nightmare before Christmas is Tim Burton's breakout film.

WARNING: Don't watch this with small children. The Oogie-Boogie man jazz dance might get a little scary for the kiddies.
