In an age where the Internet is considered a hobby, and parents are working more hours than ever before, it’s all too easy to simply forget that family should come first.

But spending time as a family is essential for maintaining happy, healthy relationships - Jane Nethersole, Director of National Family Week  (31 May – 6 June) says, ‘Spending quality time together is so important; it enhances the family dynamic and is key to nurturing positive relationships. Enjoying what your local community has to offer as a family is a perfect way to spend some quality time together.’

The approaching Easter holidays are an ideal time to get out of the house and spend some real, quality time together as a family – from farm visits to art galleries, cooking classes to water sports, Victoria Hayes has found an activity for everyone.
