Growth varies from baby to baby: some can have stunted growth, co-ordination or languqge problems, but in most cases premature babies catch up with their peers with no problems and by the time they go to school they are no different to any of their peers.

All the same, premature babies need to be monitored regularly so that their growth and functions can be analyzed and any anomalies detected quickly.
