How long do you spend in hospital?

How long do you spend in hospital?

It depends on how your delivery went and the health of you and your baby.  Mums who had straightforward births are sometimes allowed home on the same day, but if you had complications or an assisted delivery, you will have to stay in for at least 24 hours.  If you had a caesarean, you will be in for between three and five days.

If you have a private birth, you will stay in longer.  Enjoy the rest!
