Robert Pattinson's mates urge him to dump Kristen after "Twilight" promoRobert Pattinson took back Kristen Stewart only months after she confessed to cheating on him with "Snow White And The Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders.The couple reunited just in time for the promotion of the final "Twilight" movie, "Breaking Dawn - Part 2," in which they play lead characters and lovers Edward Cullen and Bella Swan.
The movie has already proved a hit in cinemas and the pair have been travelling the globe to promote its release. But now it's coming to an end, 26-year-old Rob's nearest and dearest are reportedly desperate for him to dump Kristen and reclaim his dignity.
One friend told The Sun: “It’s been awful for his family and friends to watch him, under the glare of the world, next to this woman who cheated on him and broke his heart. “Many held back while he was promoting the movie. They realized he had a job to do and kept their opinions to themselves.
“But now they are making their feelings known. He has to ditch her. She is making him look like a total idiot.” The friend claims Rob has struggled with the attention his high-profile relationship has received since Kristen was snapped kissing married Rupert, 41, in July. The pal added: "He now wants to get back to some serious acting and have a more grown-up public image.
“So the sensible thing to do would surely be to dump the woman who has turned his life into a soap opera." Though Rob is smitten with 22-year-old Kristen, he's struggling to forgive her for what she did - and the whole drama is putting a strain on their rekindled relationship. The friend continued: “He is trying to forgive her and move forward with their relationship but some days he cannot shake the thought of what she did to him. “Kristen thinks the whole world is against her - and many people are - so she is miserable a lot of the time. “But the bottom line is that she has a firm hold over him and he’s struggling to make a clean break.” |
