Wedding make up

Before your wedding you should practice your make up at home. "Don't be tempted to try anything new on the day," says Melissa Evans, bridal make up artist. "You won't feel comfortable and the groom might not recognize you!"

Natasha Lakic, make up artist to supermodels, says that whichever make up look you go for: "you should test the make up in natural light and on camera before the big day. And remember that your make up has to be timeless, you really don’t want to look at the photos in 15 years time and cringe."

Add these make up artist must-haves to your make up bag, to ensure you look radiant all day:

Daniel Sandler’s Retexturizing Face Primer "This will neutralize imperfections while giving foundation a fault-free base," says Evans.

Foundation brush
“Apply your foundation with a brush that has been moisturized for a dewy finish,” says international make up artist Daniel Sandler. "Using a brush will also ensure light, even coverage."

"A face highlighter like Laura Mercier’s Golden Mosaic Shimmer bloc can give cheekbones a lovely glow. Apply it on top of your chosen base."
