A pedicure session can last from five minutes to half an hour. If you’re squeamish, there may be an initial panic when seeing scores of fish swarming around the tank and devouring your feet.

But once you get use to the tickling feeling, you will start to relax and enjoy the sensation.

A fish pedicure session can be followed by a standard pedicure performed by a therapist, who’ll scrub away the remaining dead skin and paint your toenails if you wish. (We definitely prefer this option)!

The treatment can cost as little as £10 and go up to as much as £60, so make sure you do your research first. Here are a few websites to browse and find a salon local to you.
