Relationship test: fusion or fission?

The cons

The cons

But not everything in the garden is rosy!

Fusion couples tend to isolate themselves from their close ones and live in a bubble. Pete and Jen need contact with other people to enrich themselves, otherwise they’ll end up choking each other.

Because they don’t do anything if they don’t do it together, Pete and Jen are at risk of losing their ability to fend for themselves and the outside world will start to seem strange and hostile to them. And if they split up, the shock and isolation will send them reeling.

There’s also the danger of falling into the acquisition relationship, where one completely dominates the other’s personality. You forget who you are, you forget your own identity and you start to become mirror images of each other. It goes without saying that this is really dangerous!
