Shock

Shock

During the first few days after a break-up, you'll feel as if you've been knocked down by a tank and you'll be in a state of shock.

You have a natural protective mechanism which turns on like autopilot when you're in shock. You'll find it hard to get out of bed in the morning because during the night you might have momentarily put the break-up out of your mind and now you've got to find the strength to face the day again. It's important you surround yourself with people who care while you're feeling this way.
