My baby won't sleep: Tips for tough nights

Ah, the bliss of having a new born bubba. There's nothing like watching your baby grow up in the first year of their life.

But for lots of parents that first year can be a battle, because their baby just won't sleep. 

Dreams of getting your baby to fall asleep, waking up later than the dreaded 5am or just getting the cute pink bundle of joy to settle down, can quickly turn into nightmares. 

If you need your pre-baby eight hours sleep, worry not! You can train your baby to sleep.

We spoke to Andrea Grace, a child sleep specialist and author of "Gentle Sleep Solutions" and asked her what to do when your baby won't sleep.

She told us that all babies vary - some sleep easily, others are awake at all hours. But, and here's the good news, you can train any baby to be a good sleeper.

It's all down to two factors: patience and consistency.
