Baby on his back for sleeping

The correct position, recognized by all pediatricians, is to lay your baby on his back.

The baby's face is unobstructed, which aids breathing, and there's no risk of burying his face in the mattress. The risks of cot death, which can occur during the first few months, are also considerably reduced if your baby sleeps on his back.
